Bethesda Softworks and Tango Gameworks have revealed that last year’s PlayStation 5 console exclusive, Ghostwire: Tokyo, will come to Xbox next month. Plus, it will launch on the platform with a new content update hitting the game for everyone. More specifically, Ghostwire: Tokyo will hit Xbox Series X/S on April 12 alongside the new “Spider’s Thread” update, which will also go live on every other platform where the game is playable, too. Atari has revealed that it has acquired 12 classic arcade properties, including Berzerk and its sequel, Frenzy. Strangely, though, Atari did not reveal all 12 properties that it has acquired. In the press release announcing the news, the company only lists Berzerk and Frenzy. Strayed Lights is out next month on consoles and PC, but you can play it today via a new Steam demo. Developer Embers announced the news of this demo today during the Mix Direct Spring 2023 Showcase that aired today alongside a new trailer for the game. Lance Reddick, perhaps best known for his role in HBO’s “The Wire” has died. He was 60 years old. At the time of this writing, the cause of death is unknown but according to TMZ, “law enforcement sources say it appears to be natural.” Deadline was also able to confirm, through the actor’s public relations representative, that Reddick has died. Beyond “The Wire,” Reddick also had roles in other shows like “Fringe,” “Lost,” “Bosch,” and even last year’s “Resident Evil” series on Netflix. Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Arkane Studios have released a new story trailer for Redfall, and it features four of the vampiric big bads we’ll be battling in Massachusetts this May. Running nearly three and a half minutes long, this trailer shows off quite a bit of the quaint (and vampire-ridden) town of Redfall. Last year, Dying Light 2 Stay Human studio, Techland, revealed the first look at its unannounced fantasy RPG that’s now in development. Now, the studio has released another conceptual look at the game. Sea of Stars, Sabotage Studio’s promising retro-inspired RPG (and our cover story this month), is coming to Xbox consoles. Until now, the game was only slated for PlayStation, Switch, and PC. The RPG prequel to The Messenger arrives on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One on August 29 alongside the other versions.
